[2023W] - ROB313 Introduction to Learning from Data: I was the instructor for a third-year undergraduate course at the University of Toronto covering fundamental concepts in machine learning, including clustering, PCA, regression/classification, kernel methods, neural networks, and Bayesian inference. Responsibilities included delivering lectures, designing assignments and exams, and providing student support through office hours and online Q&A.
Teaching Assistantships
[2021W, 2022W, 2025W] - AER406 Aircraft Design: I instructed students on the aircraft design process with a model airplane design challenge. The students learned aerodynamic and structural design skills, as well as how to build and test fly their airplanes. I was awarded the departmental teaching assistant award in 2025 after being nominated by my students.
[2024F] - AER407 Spacecraft Design: I instructed students on the spacecraft design process, using a low-Earth orbit spacecraft recovery mission as an example. Students learned systems design within strict constraints imposed by the launch provider, communications systems, and regulations.
[2019F] - AER210 Vector Calculus and Fluid Mechanics: I instructed a microfluidics lab and graded lab reports for ~100 students. I taught students safe handling of fluids and how to collect data on local fluid velocity by tracking fluorescent beads under a microscope.
